She has been working at Disney World since January and we missed her SO much! We first went to Fort Lauderdale for 4 days, then we went to Orlando for 5 days...it was so fun! This was Brodys first airplane ride and he did really good. Brody is now 9 months old! He has 7 teeth and is standing up on everything! I think that he will be walking soon. He will pull himself up to the coffee table and walk around it! It is darling! He also has learned to say "mama"! He is the most precious thing :) We just went to his 9 month check-up and he is a little over 18 pounds and is almost 29 inches long (which means that we will need to put in the big boy car seat). He is on as a volunteer Firefighter with Sandy City! Starting in January 2009, Tyson started with his EMT. Next, he went straight into the fire academy and finished off by getting is EMT Intermediate! The next step is becoming a Paramedic (which he will be doing in the next couple of years). About 5 months ago Tyson started testing with Sandy, which is a very long process. A couple of weeks ago he found out the he made it as a volunteer (which Sandy will only hire volunteers)! I am hoping that he will get a permanent job with them in the next couple of months. Brody wasn't too excited about the presents, but he sure loved all of the paper :) I could not have imagined Christmas being so much fun with a little baby. We started off our morning at our house where we opened all of our presents! Tyson got me an electric start for my car, I got him a new TV for our bedroom and Brody got more toys and books then he will even know what to do with!

<br /><p>Next, we were on our way up to my parents house for their Christmas and breakfast. On the way up Roxy had an accident in the car...all over the seat! It was the most nasty, funny thing! So we had to pull over get the dogs out of the car and get it all cleaned up. Luckily I have leather seats, so it cleaned up very easily. At my parents I got new patio furniture, Tyson got wood working stuff and Brody got a new car seat! After opening presents we ate breakfast which the boys coooked for us!! It was so yummy :)</p><p></p>

<br />Finally, we made it to Tysons parents house! Right when we got there we got to talk to his brother Ryan that is on a mission in Missouri! That was so good to be able to talk to him. Then when we were on our way downstairs to open up presents, Austin totally fell down the stairs!! It was hilarious!! Next, we started opening presents! Tyson and I got a night at Little America and Brody got his first guitar and an awesome fire truck that is dad has claimed as his own! </p><p>

It seems like just yesterday I was still pregnant with this perfect little boy! He is getting so big, he is laughing at us everyday, he is reaching for toys and loves putting them in his mouth, he loves bath time and always has, he loves the baby bjorn, he tries to make the same noises that I am making. He is learning to do something new everyday. He is the best baby that I could ever ask for. I am so greatful that he is my little boy! </div><div align="center">We got more family pictures done! It has been the best, most exciting year ever! We have traveled quite a bit, we went to Fiji on our Honeymoon, went to Atlanta for work, Vegas for Thanksgiving, Mexico for Christmas, and San Diego to go to Sea World! We just had a little baby boy a month ago, which has been the best thing in the entire world! He is the most precious little guy! It is crazy how fast life goes by. It seems like not that long ago Tyson and I started dating, and now we have been married for a year with a baby! I could not ask for my life to be any different...it is absolutely perfect :) I am so greatful to have such an amazing husband. He is the best person I know! I truely am blessed to have him in my life, he is my best friend! Brody is so lucky to have such an amazing dad! I am so excited for all of the next anniversaries that we get to have (atleast 50 more)!! To celebrate this year we went to Tuscany for dinner (that is where we got married)! We went in to Jordan Valley on June 17th and had Brody Tyson Swayt at 6:38pm. He weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long!! I have been so excited. I love going in there and just sitting in the rocker. It is so relaxing and peaceful. I just keep thinking that really soon I am going to be sitting in there with a little baby! And it is not just a little baby, it is "my" little baby.
